For someone from Boston, Tom Brady has been the King of New England for 19 years. Tom Brady IS the Patriots, well WAS the Patriots. Though most Pats fans didn't want to believe it was coming to an end, the writing was all over the wall. The only real question was where he was going to go. For me, over the last 2 decades, I've transferred from a Patriots fan to a loyal Tom Brady fan. Much like Brady and Belichick growing apart, I have done the same with Belichick myself. I have found myself frustrated and annoyed with him and his decisions for the longest time now. Including, but not limited to, not playing Butler in the Super Bowl and this whole saga with Brady and trying to get rid of him for the last couple of years. And for that reason, I wanted Brady to leave Boston, and go right to where he is landing. Tampa Bay.

Last season, Brady took a beating from the experts on TV and the "experts" on social media. He "showed his age" and a bunch of other similar remarks. Meanwhile, he had absolutely ZERO help on Offense and still started 6-0, still won the division and still made the playoffs, despite being bounced in the Wild Card round by the Titans (who beat the heavy favorite Ravens on their way to the AFC Championship). So if he can do that with a depleted offense, what is he going to do with the Buccaneers? In comparison, the Bucs are an upgrade at every position on offense including good TE's and WR's, and he has a good defense as well. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are a better team than the New England Patriots.

Now, I've seen people say "let's see if he can prove" followed by some stupid statement. He has NOTHING to prove. He has already done it all. He IS the Greatest QB of All Time. Whether he falls on his face in TB or goes on and wins a 7th Super Bowl. I hope he wins another one, that would be amazing. But he has nothing to prove. To those that won't admit he is the GOAT, who constantly knock him, there isn't ANYTHING he can do, to win them over. If he somehow wins a Super Bowl with Tampa, it will be because "he went to a good team" not because he is the GOAT. So he won because of Bill Belichick and then won due to leaving for a better team after. There just isn't anything he can do to win over his haters. To me, if he wins the NFC South, that is a win all on its own.

The only reservation I had about him going to Tampa, was their hideous uniforms. But as I have said, and read, the Bucs WILL have new uniforms before the season starts and it will look very similar to the picture above. I think he looks great in this uniform, and I honestly believe he is going to look even better on the field this upcoming season.
