Today the Tampa Bay Buccaneers unveiled their new uniforms! As discussed, they went back to their Super Bowl-winning days with the best looking uniforms and best-looking helmet/logo in the history of the team. The oversized logo on the helmet takes these classic unis to the next level, especially now that they have black facemasks again.
Perfect is the word that came out of my mouth when I first saw them. They are exactly what I was hoping for and they nailed it. I thought they were going to have a black alternate, but instead, they have a pewter alternate which looks surprisingly awesome! All 3 jerseys will go great with all 3 pants and that is something that is so important (to me at least). The pewter looks darker which was the perfect decision. They kept the orange within the number outlines and the stripe on the pants. Some thought that they wouldn't have them this time around, but I am happy to see that they did indeed keep them after all.

From the comments, MOST fans are excited about the change. Commenting with fire emojis and talking about how pumped they are about the season and buying the jerseys. A lot of people are also with me when it comes to liking the pewter unis. A poll from the Bucs asking which is the fans favorite, with close to 6,000 votes (at the time I am writing this) has the pewter unis with 48% of the votes. I love the risk they took and I really think it paid off in a big way.
But of course, you have to have the morons come out of the woodwork to sling negativity at something new. Braindead comments like "Eww. Y’all choked on this". What?? Obviously liking something is subjective. But to say they "choked" by bringing back a beloved uni is ignorant. There are also a handful of comments like "The Falcons called, they want their jerseys back". These are the unis they wore starting back in '97. The Falcons have nothing similar to this, and if they are talking about their current unis (before they unveil their new ones soon), they changed to them in 2003. Therefore AFTER the Bucs. If they are talking about wearing red, the Falcons stopped wearing red in 1990 and didn't go back until 2004. If you want to complain about a team wearing similar colors, how about you go complain about the Bills, Giants, Patriots, and Texans. Then you have a good amount of people complaining that it isn't the "creamsicle" unis. Some just disappointed, but most comments about this are trashing these unis because they didn't get what they wanted. 20-40 year old's having a temper tantrum on Twitter. You know, the norm nowadays. And for the love of god, the color of the pants and jersey is PEWTER! Not black or grey. I can't understand the people attacking those who say they like the pewter. "A Person's Opinion Is Only As Good As Their Knowledge On That Subject", and it is apparent that these people are just talking out of their ass (sorry for the rant lol).

Honestly, I am really happy about these unis. From top to bottom, all together, individually, it all works. I planned on buying a Brady jersey as soon as he signed with the Bucs, but I held off preordering because I didn't know if the Bucs were going to try something super crazy like they did the last time. But with how happy I am about these, I literally just bought it. Brady #12 in red.
I am trying to find SOMETHING to nitpick at. Something I think they could have done better with. But I am honestly coming up empty. I think they hit every mark they needed to hit, and then some. With these new unis, Brady at the helm, and great talent around them. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are going to be fun to watch!
