New LA Rams Logo

Today the Los Angeles Rams revealed their new logos heading into the 2020 season. As we saw in the leak, it was the "LA" logo and a secondary Ram logo. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, and I respect that freedom. But what I have a hard time getting over, is the "cancel culture" that hits every time something new comes out. It's the same thing every time. Let's all make jokes and complain about how bad it is because that is what we do with our lives. We all know that whatever the Rams revealed, it was going to be instantly hated. Out the gate. There was no avoiding it. It's a "who can get the most likes with their joke" competition. It's immensely irritating.
But let's push away all the empty-headed comments and see the legit criticism. One version of the "LA" logo has a gradient Ram horn, starting with white then goes into the full yellow horn. I don't like gradients in logos. It is too troublesome in my opinion. However, the version of the LA logo I used above looks fantastic. It is very clean and simple. Straight to the point. You look at it, "LA" and a Ram horn. LA Rams. Anyone can see that, even if they aren't into sports.

I would have thought this would have been a secondary logo though. They revealed a Ram Head logo as well, which I was expecting to be the primary, but it wasn't. I like this logo as well. Once again. It's simple. It takes on the feel of the old bone head ram logo. The way it is positioned, with the white face and yellow horns. I think twitter user "Dylan Landon" has said it the best so far:
"regardless of initial reaction, props to them for launching a "modern" look. it's unique and not always liked. something to adjust to. but fun to look at" - @DylanfromBklyn
Overall, I like the changes they have made. The colors are what I assumed they would be. Blue and Yellow. It is a nice Blue and Yellow as well. I don't like the gradient on one version, I wish the Ram logo was the primary, but I believe it moves them forward as a franchise and once the "cancel culture, please give me likes for my jokes" people move on, I believe the fanbase will start to see that it is better than they want to admit it is.
The uniforms should be coming fairly soon and I expect that the new style of the Ram horn will be on the helmet. I am interested to see the direction they went with the rest of the uniform. Are the shoulders going to have the Ram horns as well? Or did they move away from that this time around? Did they do anything innovative when it came to the template of the uniform? So many questions! I can't wait to get a look at them!
