XFL Champions?

I have been seeing a lot of tweets and videos, comments being made about how the Houston Roughnecks should be crowned the XFL Champions of the 2020 season. Though the season is not going to be played out (as of right now, things could change), the Roughnecks are the only team unbeaten. So they should be the XFL Champs, right? Wrong.

This same thing happened when the AAF ended (due to folding, not a virus which has stopped the entire sports world, not just the XFL). The Orlando Apollos were undefeated when the season came to an abrupt halt and they were crowned the AAF Champions. I didn't like it then, and I don't like it now.
The Houston Roughnecks have been my #1 on my Power Rankings, since week one. They are undefeated, they were most likely going to the playoffs, but NO ONE knew if they were going to win the Championship. The 18-0 New England Patriots went to the Super Bowl, and everyone thought 19-0 Undefeated Champs. How did that play out? I can't sit here and crown a team as being the Champions if the Championship game was never played. The season is INCOMPLETE. Houston still had 5 games left in the regular season. They could have been 5-5 at the end of it all. It isn't likely, but it wouldn't have been impossible. They could have got beat in that first playoff game, or upset in the Championship game. So many things could have happened. But the games are not going to be played.
I know Houston fans won't care about that, they are the Champions in their own mind. The players probably think the same as well. I personally just can't acknowledge that. By doing so, you are robbing the other teams, who would have been in contention. It would say that there is no way other teams were going to beat them, so we might as well crown them.
Every team should feel robbed. No awards should be given and there shouldn't be a 2020 XFL Champion this season. As much as all that sucks, for all of us. League, players and fans alike. It is the truth and the reality of all of this.
