After finally showing up in the XFL season, by shutting out the DC Defenders 25-0, the Vipers are about to square up against the team who beat DC 39-9 the week before that. The LA Wildcats.

Both teams are coming into this weekend with a record of 1-3. Both wins coming from, you guessed it, the DC Defenders. For LA, their only good games were their game against DC, and a decent performance against, now #3, Dallas Renegades. For Tampa, they had a really good bout with #1 Houston Roughnecks, which really showed promise, and then their shutout vs DC.

That being said, Tampa is going into this weekend with 2 good games under their belts and a running game that had 2 running backs put up over 100 yards EACH. LA, on the other hand, took their 39-9 stomping of DC and brought it to New York to play the Guardians, and looked awful. NY gave them every chance to win that game and they couldn't score more than 14 points, in a game I feel they could have scored 30 if they executed properly.

For these reasons, I am going with the Tampa Bay Vipers this weekend. They will improve to 2-3, keeping their slim playoff hopes alive.
